 MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Manual Lymphatic Drainage was developed by Dr Emil Vodder in France during the early 1930s as a safe, effective technique to improve lymphatic system function, relieving chronic conditions such as sinus congestion, fluid retention and digestive disorders.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a subtle form of massage that works holistically to stimulate the lymph system, removing toxins, excess water and waste products from the
body. It increases the blood flow to the lymph and veins, without increasing the flow to the arteries.

What can Manual Lymphatic Drainage do?
· Relaxes - body, mind and spirit
· Helps weight loss – by draining away excess fluid
· Cleanses and tones – by draining away toxins
· Reduces bags and dark circles from under the eyes
· Firms cheeks and jaw lines
· Cuts down double chins

Other areas Manual Lymphatic Drainage can be effective are:
· Reducing scar tissue
· Nasal problems such as Rhinitis, Sinusitis and Hay Fever
· Post liposuction
· Post facial surgery (including surgery facelifts)
· Could reduce blood pressure

Can MLD help my face?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage can act a bit like a non-surgical facelift because it performs the following actions:

· Relaxes the facial muscles
· Raises the forehead and eyebrows
· Smoothes wrinkles and crow’s feet
· Reduces bags and dark circles from under the eyes
· Firms cheeks and jaw lines
· Cuts down double chin
