Podiatry

Podiatry is the treatment of the lower limbs, particularly the foot and ankle. Podiatrists diagnose, treat and prevent foot problems using chemical, physical, mechanical and surgical therapies. Podiatry can be used to treat nail and skin conditions, biomechanical problems, sporting injuries and verrucae. Our podiatrist is also experienced in treating children's foot problems such as pigeon toes, tripping, flat feet, skin lesions as well as pain and congenital deformities. There is no difference between a podiatrist and chiropodist; the international convention is now to use the term podiatry.
